Subject: Q3 Numbers and Franshising Your Business

Hello to everyone in the Million Dollar and Broker Communities!  As always, I hope this message finds you all doing well and business is booming!
First and foremost, prayers and best wishes to any and all of you who might have been in harms way during the recent hurricane hitting the east coast.  I can only imagine what many of you are having to endure, making this message and related matters, essentially, insignificant - and rightfully so.  God bless you all!
I was planning on sharing some Q3 data and statistics as I did our Q1 and Q2 at my July 7th seminar.  However, knowing the hurricane would definitely adversely affecting our business in that region, I pulled some of our averages prematurely because they would be more accurate taken before the storm.
With that being said, our Delivery average is $99.17 per delivery - down from $105.71.  What do I attribute the $5 decline from Q1/Q2 average - the change in policy we implemented to haul-offs starting in August (refer to previous newsletter outlining that policy change).
For Express Moves, we are averaging $405.11, down from $426.35 from Q1/Q2.  I really don't attribute that decline to anything specific other than an increase in smaller jobs because our work order volume has been increasing in the summer months with many being at a smaller price point.  I actually think the $426.35 was more of an outlier because our Express Move average for 2017 was $398.74.  So realistically, $405.11 is more in alignment with our 2017 statistics.
Our combined revenue from Deliveries and Express Moves has increased to 65%, up from 64% of total revenue in 2017 and 62% from Q1/Q2 in 2018.  So I think this number is developing to be very stable for future projections.  One variable that could change this would be the implementation of "Quick Courier" once launched.
Switching to a different topic, we've continued our discussions regarding the possibilities of franchising your broker business with select Licensees.  My legal team is adamant that we will not get involved in the actual drafting of individual franchise agreements leaving that responsibility up to your attorney and you.  The reason is simple, each broker business is unique and you should be able to develop your custom plan/Agreement to meet your specific needs.

However, I have taken the liberty to create a "Brief" outlining some important suggestions, thoughts, and ideas you will want to consider - even before discussing with your attorney.  I am sure your attorney will have additional advice, but I want you to have as much targeted information as possible based on the success of my broker business.

Emilia is on vacation this week.  If you are an Active Licensee and would like to get a copy of this franchise brief, please keep this message and email her at emiliardaniels@yahoo.com at the first of next week to request a copy.  Emila will make sure you get a copy.
Again, God bless each and every one of you having to endure hurricane damage.  Our business is definitely being affected, but it will rebound as we can always get more business.  You, however, are literally dealing with REAL trials and tribulations.  God bless you all!
See you at the Top!
Joel E. Davis
PS: Please remember to email Emilia at the first of next week if you are an Active Licensee interested in getting a copy of my franchise brief.
