Hello everyone,
In October, the VA originally posted a Sources Sought Notice for 24-7 wheelchair and stretcher transportation for the New Jersey Health Care System (VANJHCS) and their ten (10) Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in East Orange, Lyons, Elizabeth, Tinton Falls, Hackensack, Piscataway, Brick, Hamilton, Jersey City, Morristown, Paterson, Newton.
They have made some updates to their original posting and have now reposted it as an original notice which leads me to believe they are having a hard time finding competent and capable providers to meet such a large demand. I have no confirmation of this, it is only my suspicion because, from what I can tell, the updates are minimal and they further extended the dates.
