Subject: Lowes Contractor - Possibilities?

Hello to all our active Licensees!

We recently hired a new contractor who works full time for Lowes.  With the demands of life, family, and expenses, he wants to make more money and actually sought us out.  He had discussions with one of our contractors who was there picking something up for a client and one thing led to another and now he plans on working for us 3 days per week and using the truck of an existing contractor.

Tim just started this week and the following is his first customer survey!
As I've mentioned before, we've had an on-again off-again relationship with Lowes and Home Depot. We've done work out their different stores over the years but it has always been at the request and arrangement of the customer. Each time we suggested or attempted to discuss establishing a more formal relationship directly with Lowes or Home Depot it would have required an increased about of bureaucratic nonsense and red tape - something that contradicts our business model.

I've heard that Lowes plans to begin outsourcing deliveries before, but this new contractor, Tim, confirmed that Lowes is actively working to transition to a contractor-based delivery model because it makes more financial sense for the company.

Needless to say, I will continue to keep you all posted on updates and developments. I would definitely love to add Lowes to one of our steady retail clients!
