Hello to everyone within the Million Dollar Transportation Community! I hope this message finds all of you doing very well and that business is BOOMING!!

To all VIP members, I would like to take a quick moment to bring to your attention a recent question that was posted as follows:

"First off, I would like to thank you for all your help thus far. Your info regarding livery insurance helped out a lot. Our company is operating well as a private pay company (medicaid pending) and we are receiving more and more calls each day!

My question is that of insurance coverage outside the medicar. Is there any type of coverage for actions such as assisted escort down steps, transfer from chair to bed and vice versa? It seems many companies in our area are reluctant to provide through-the-door service. (probably because of liability issues I'm thinking) I would like to capitalize on this insufficiency from the OTHER medicar companies. Most people WANT through-the-door service, as curbside drop-off from our city ADA service seems almost redundant if the client can't make it over the first step to walk in the house on his/her own! I just want to make sure my guys are covered in case something happens (patient slips while being assisted, etc.) any ideas???
