Dear Joel and Fellow Entrepreneurs,

I was reading the last memo Joel sent out and I wanted to share my input as to what he stated relating to the amazing opportunity the Broker Business is. The opportunity of growth is staggering with the ability to expand into different areas and markets. Sharelink has now been open for business for the past 4-5 months. We are currently growing every week and with just one of our retail stores we have done over 35 deliveries to date. Volume is the key and as you build relationships with your customers the volume explodes. My non-emergency medical company, Mobility Transportation Services, has allowed me to expand into doing express moves with my Sharelink company by working with families moving their elderly parents out of their homes or other care centers into assisted living centers all over my area. My contractors love these express moves because they are currently making an average of $180.00 a move and most of them finish the move in under 2 hours. As Joel stated in his letter, the opportunity of growth and the ability to tap into so many available resources of revenue and that we haven’t even scratched the surface is an understatement.

From my experience so far, I’m finding that developing good, strong reliable contractors is the key to this business. I’m currently using Joel’s advice and working at finding contractors that can assemble furniture in a quick and sufficient way. I’m reaching out to one of my large retail stores to train my contractors in the assembly process to know how to assemble the types of furniture they sell. By showing the retail store my desire to provide great service to their clients, it enhances my relationship with them. I’m also working on finding an assembly contractor that could go out and assist our clients when our delivery contractors are too busy and need to stay on schedule.

To start up my business my first contractor I approached someone I knew. I had a dispatcher in my NEMT business that has worked for me for a long time. Her husband had wanted to start his own business. I shared with him what I was doing, and he was excited. I helped him find a 16’ box truck that was in excellent shape for $7,500 plus help him set up an LLC business structure. He went to our local Harbor Freight and purchased blankets, a dolly and tie downs. It didn’t take much for him to be in business and making good money for part time work. His company does all my express moves into care centers.

Some of you have reached out to me for advice and help and I want you to know that I’m more than willing to share with you what I’ve learned. I’ve been able to develop a great website with the help of a friend of mine. If you would like to go to it and get ideas you are more than welcome to visit my site at www.sharelinkservices.com . I want to stress that you don’t need to have a website to get started. Just get out there with literature and build relationships with retail stores all around you. Stick to Joel’s amazing training videos as your guide; don’t reinvent the wheel. Joel’s strategies work and he has amazing staff that will help you along the way.

To your success,
Spencer McDonald
