Joel recently updated a 14-page Emergency Action Plan resource to help a client-provider who is contracted with a high performing facility. This facility asked for the transportation provider's Emergency Action Plan in response to natural disasters and unforeseen emergencies.
Especially when you consider the recent hurricane tragedies in Florida and rumors of other potential disasters, this resource could be helpful in training your staff. Likewise, if you are working to contract with the VA, other government agencies, or local hospitals and facilities this could be a helpful resource. They would be concerned about how your drivers will respond should an emergency situation occur while transporting their patients or residents.
