Subject: CMS and VA Getting Audited and how it affects you!

Hello to all my Million Dollar Peeps!  As always, I hope this message finds you all doing well, and business is booming!

How about all these DOGE audits???  The revelations of generations of waste, fraud, and abuse is nothing short of DELISH!!

Guess what, DOGE representatives are already on site and CMS offices to audit the Medicare and Medicaid systems.  I suspect, the VA will be coming very soon.

What's the benefits of such deliciousness?

If you'll recall from previous newsletters and discussions, I discussed how hospitals and emergency rooms are notorious for "upcoding" charges so they can "clear their decks" to discharge patients so they can turnover the beds.  It's all about that money!

More specifically, patients who should be discharged by wheelchair are being upcoded so an ambulance can UNNECESSARILY transport the patient and 80% of reimbursements will come from Medicare.  The result a TON of waste and fraud.

When CMS audits hospitals and emergency rooms, audits can take 2 or more years, so it's exhaustive to say the least.

Now, with DOGE cracking down on CMS, you know CMS has got to, in turn, crack down on hospitals and emergency rooms.  The bi-product is to your benefit - BIG TIME!

If you think I'm wrong, do a quick online search asking "What is the most common abuse of Medicare and Medicaid," and when you do, what the VERY FIRST cause?  You guessed it, "UPCODING!"

Again, as I always say, don't every take my word for ANYTHING.  Always fact check everything I say.

I'm telling you, you can parlay these events to your advantage with hospitals, ERs, and I suspect the VA in the future because when the VA gets audited, I don't think we're going to continue seeing the ginormous over bloated and inflated contracts.  Rather, I think work will be further deregulated giving providers much greater opportunity at the local level.

I'll share more down the road as things continue to shakeout, but I think there's opportunity, opportunity, and opportunity in the future.

Speaking of opportunity, we probably have more buyers "in the stable" than we do sellers.  That's NOT typical, so if you're thinking of selling your business, contact us.  We'll send you a short questionnaire to learn more and see where it leads us.

See you at the Top!
