Subject: 2020 Numbers and Associated Details

Hello to everyone in the Million Dollar and Broker Communities!  As always, I hope this message finds you all doing well and business is booming!

I would have had this information published earlier in the month, but we are dealing with a number of health related issue for my mother stemming from atria fibrillation, so I have been quite preoccupied.  We have to take care of our mommies - we only get one of them!

2020 was a crazy year for all of us - my broker business included.  We experienced a 3.08% growth from 2019, our lowest to date, BUT when you consider we were down approximately 42% when things initially shut down due to Covid, I'm FAR from complaining!

The other big surprise is that for the first time in NINE years our Express Moves exceeded our Delivery revenue.  We directly attribute this to a new platform we started using for lead generation.  It's a paid service which added an expense to our bottom line, but hey, whose complaining?!  The results speak for themselves:
"On paper," my margin of just over 26% is probably my lowest number since 2013, BUT again, I'm definitely not complaining - we still grew, and when you consider all the circumstance, who cares?!  Plus, this number is actually lower because we had to "move things around" for tax purposes.

For those active Licensees and those in the process, please feel free to contact me with questions and I'll be more than happy to share further insight and explanation into my numbers.

For those of you who keep scoffing at the prospects of launching some form a broker business, my suggestion is that you seriously reconsider.  Need proof?  Just look below:
I wonder how these policies will affect the price of fuel, labor, and your business.  I don't think you need to be a rocket scientist to see the writing on the wall of these basic laws of economics.  When fuel goes up, EVERYTHING goes up.

Bottom line, even if it's only on a small scale, you need to be seriously considering some type of a business that allows you to outsource work so you limit your exposure to direct expenses while still generating profitable revenue.  Again, it doesn't need to be a broker business like mine or in the same industries, but it needs to be something!

See you at the Top!
