Aurora,
a prey shifter, is rejected by her mate, he even tells her to leave
Oklahoma, which she does post haste. Driving through the night, she
eventually runs out of gas and has to walk. Somehow, she walks into
another packs territory and is taken to their home. Strange things
happen, and the magic in the air is going haywire. The Apex Alpha’s want
to know who she is and how she got into their protected town.
This
is an interesting short read: I was hooked from page one and although it
is short, it is a complete tale with magic, shifters, romance, and a
HEA. I am looking forward to book 2!
