Athena Livingstone has survived a year on Dobromia by relying on discipline, strength, and never letting her guard down. Then a mysterious Weredragon warrior saves her patrol and disappears back into the wilderness. Varek has lived alone for two years, banished for speaking the truth. Athena is the first person to see the man beneath the exile—and the first thing he can't walk away from. But danger, politics, and enemies threaten everything they've found.

When an exiled warrior finds his fated mate, guarding her may cost him everything.
