Hi Friend,
If we knew the challenges we would meet along the way, we would probably never take a single journey in our lives.

|
Isn’t it an irony that we really get to know ourselves through the challenges?
And isn’t it true that so often the real intimacy we’ve been longing for is found inside the challenges we experience?
A friend of mine doesn’t even perceive them as challenges any more. They are just part of the movement of Divine exploration.
I was recently talking with a counseling client about this topic, in our own way, and I share the following with her.
My elders taught me that…
|
| ... life moves through cycles of creation.
1. We begin with “what is,” along with our intentions and desires.
2. Then we meet our resistance to those desires—our fears, worries, doubts—basically our human limits. These create chaos. When we attach to those limits, we tend to experience even more chaos.
Once we have Held the resistance with love, the chaos quiets down, the resistance dissolves, and the reality we hoped to create begins opening to us.
3. The old pattern has died and now a new one can be born. |
| Knowing this cycle of creation has made my journey so much easier.
After years of bumping up against my resistance and railing at God, now as I bump up against my resistance, I smile, because I know that once I have Held and loved the resistance, something new and wonderful is going to be coming into my life.
We never quite know what our resistances and challenges are going to look like, but they are doorways to our freedom and creation, if we allow ourselves to go into the resistance and love what is there.
Each person’s journey is mysterious and unique, but this pattern of creation—desire, chaos, resolution—takes place over and over throughout each of our lives.
|
| We can resist it or learn how to create within it. |
| When I wrote "The Root of All Healing: 7 Steps to Healing Anything," I was learning how to be present to this process in healing, and in writing the book, I shared what I learned.
I didn’t know it then, but I know now that when I took the next step and created "The Root of All Healing audio course," I was creating strategies for others to use to move through this cycle of creation in order to create healing.
Good news—we decided to extend the special on this audio course through Tuesday, the 15th. But, I do recommend getting it while you are thinking about it right now.
The program has helped users consciously move through the cycle of creation to create healing in body and soul.
