I’ve noticed that people on sacred paths tend to be very giving individuals. However, when it comes to receiving the help we need, we might be hesitant to ask.
I did this for years, thinking it was selfish to ask for help. Oh, I would drop little hints all over the place and then be very upset with people for not volunteering to help me.

What I didn’t know is that there is a hidden blessing that comes when you ask for what you want.
|
|
|
|
In order to discover this, I caught the flu at a time I had no food in the house. I HAD to ask a close friend to pick up a few things for me. She was so gracious about it, that my gratitude overcame my shame—and I truly received her generous gift of time.
She had been wanting to repay the kindness someone had once shown her when she was sick, so she was delighted to help. And she needed me to receive it in order to feel fulfilled!

Allowing yourself to receive awakens the receptive gifts of Sacred Feminine energy—for everyone involved to experience.

Asking for what you need or want clears a pathway so that a secret, unexpected blessing can now occur.
Your request is not an inconvenience. It is an opportunity for someone to receive a hidden and secret blessing.
Here is an example of a secret blessing one of my counseling clients discovered in asking for what she wanted.
My client was very deep in her healing process at the same time her husband was feeling dissatisfied at work. She was afraid she would have to go back to work before she was ready. We talked about how to chat with her husband about this. She knew what she wanted and was willing to ask for it. She was also willing to hear what he wanted.
In their conversation she discovered, he wanted a more fulfilling job and was happy for her to stay home and continue healing. So, in our next session we worked on how to help him manifest more satisfying employment. Within a week, her husband had several new and better opportunities. They both got what they wanted!
The hidden blessing was in his fulfillment. It happened because she courageously asked for what she wanted.

People who love and care about you will figure out a way to help you if they possibly can, and in doing so they open up to hidden blessings for themselves.
|
|
I used to not ask because my greatest fear was that people I loved would say, No. But I quickly discovered that if people who cared could not help me, they were very kind in the way they declined. They made it pretty easy for me.
I even learned to be bolder—reaching out to people that didn’t know me well—and I found them to be very kind in listening to my request.
The occasional rude person was actually someone wounded and in need of love. I thanked them for considering my request and then held them quietly in my heart for healing.
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been exploring the gifts that come when you know what you want and allow yourself to receive.
Add to that—asking for what you want directly—and you create opportunities for everyone to be blessed.
You get to receive exactly what you want and the person who gives to you has the chance to receive a sweet hidden blessing for themselves.
