Some years ago, I was sleeping peacefully when I saw and felt Satya Sai Baba’s presence. His essence filled me with love as he requested that I consider receiving and writing down teachings Mary Magdalene wrote 2,000 years ago. If you’ve heard some of my stories, you know that is not the first time I’ve been asked to bring back ancient wisdom for us to use today. It seems my beloved family on the other side have figured out I’m available and willing. ;) The first time I then heard Mary’s words, I was also sleeping, and I could hear her dictating the beginning of a book she wrote those many centuries ago. I crawled out of bed and flipped on my desk light. Only half awake, my mind was open and uncluttered as I received her beautiful wisdom, and for perhaps the first time in 2,000 years, scribed her insights onto paper once again.

For several days, I sat at my desk late at night when my mind was quiet, listening carefully for her dictations, capturing them with respect for the gifts they would become for those who read them. Those etheric downloads became my third book, Sacred Feminine Awakening: Wisdom from Mary Magdalene on Healing the Self. As I wrote, the fundamentals of a four-fold path I now teach revealed itself. Mary prepared us in understanding that path by carefully defining four fundamental qualities for healing: love, faith, hope and intention. It was her definition of hope that caught me off guard. When I finished writing down the sentence, my whole being melted into surrender. Here is what she said:

Hope is found when you surrender to God’s love for you. |

We work so hard in our healing journeys. We bounce in and out of hope based upon the result of the day that we are seeing. But Mary Magdalene offers us a pathway to hope—and therefore healing—that is more profound, because when we release into pure love we know healing is there. Hope comes from knowing healing truly exists for us.

This is as true for humanity as it is for us as individuals. When I look at the chaos we are experiencing in the world right now, I think about Mary Magdalene’s amazing definition of hope. As I surrender into God’s love for me—for each one of us—I’m renewed in the hope that only love knows. |
In love, we remember our pure potential as Divine beings. |
For every problem there is an answer, and our answers for the world today live inside of us—in the potential of Divine love and wisdom pulsing inside us.
