Hello, dear sister Friend,
Have you noticed how when you’re in fear, it’s really difficult to feel compassion—whether it’s for yourself or for someone else. Instead of compassion, we tend to go into self-preservation mode.
Sometimes, we’ve been caring for so many people for so long, we’re afraid we just can’t handle one more minute of being compassionate for anybody else.
And then without meaning to, we’re so numb, we end up shutting down our capacity for love and joy.
We push through our days, but we know we’ve lost some part of ourselves in the process—and now holding another person feels more like a duty to get through, rather than sacred fulfillment.
When Nicole came to us, she was consciously choosing to create a new relationship with fear, because she knew otherwise her world and her life would feel constricted.
So she went all in and committed to learning how to enter into a state of Restorative Compassion using the Holding Meditation.
By going into compassion the way it’s taught in our ancient feminine practices, her fear could finally rest. And here’s what happened:
