I’ve been there. I remember a time when the thought that I was the healer of myself was just plain scary.
I remember wondering what it must be like to have a mystical experience or receive direct guidance from the Divine.
I remember sitting out on Mother Earth during a vision quest, wondering just what the heck my life was about.
Somehow, at each of those junctures, I knew I needed to find help—good help. I needed someone who had been where I was, and would listen and offer gentle guidance, without judging me.
I needed the Holding power of the Sacred Feminine.

I needed someone who could Hold the rawness of me along with my potential—someone who would love me in my suchness—so that I could really see myself in order to heal and flourish.

Being a bit of maverick, I wanted someone who was willing to let me find my own way and my own answers, and who could also help me see what I just couldn’t see about myself...
...where I kept getting stuck, but also my abilities and successes.
Fortunately, I found beautiful counselors, therapists, and elders along the way who helped me discover the truth of me. And I still go to my elders for insights and help today.
I finally figured out, it is wise to be humble, and to ask for help. Insights from those who saw and cared about me helped speed up my results. ;)
