We frequently end up on emotional roller coasters throughout our lives, and all too often our bodies pay the toll for the emotional ride we’ve been on since childhood. Did you know that researchers are finding a direct correlation between adult illnesses and childhood trauma? You see, for those of us who are sensitive and empathic, 💗 we learn at a young age to identify with pain (ours and the pain of others), and unwittingly enter into a cycle where… … we end up having more empathy for pain and less empathy for joy. And it all started in childhood traumas we may or may not even remember. But I know from my own experience, and from the experiences of the women in my courses, we can break free from that cycle. As you may know, I grew up experiencing childhood traumas, and it took me years to heal from the depression, hormonal imbalance, MS, and cancer I experienced as an adult. I was over-identifying with the pain. I needed to get my self-empathy to a whole new level if I wanted to get out of the trauma loop more quickly. Thankfully, I made a life-changing discovery! I found a powerful 1,000-year-old feminine practice for getting to the kind of self-love that frees us from difficult emotions—and best of all—takes us into states of awakened joy. 🌈
