I find it intriguing how often we just try to stop an old pattern and get angry with ourselves when we blow it.
We get mad at ourselves, criticize and even shame ourselves for not getting our act together.
|
|
|
Sometimes in our fervent attempts to make our lives better, we make ourselves feel worse.
|
|
Sacred Feminine energy has something to teach us about this. Feminine energy is not about making demands.
Feminine energy is about invitations.

I like to talk about various kinds of cues now and then, because they are so simple and effective.
Cues can be visual, auditory or they can be physical prompts (like when you touch your loved one’s arm to let them know it’s time to leave a party and go home).
When I’m coaching individuals, I actively look for the cues they can introduce into their lives that make their journeys easier for them.
As I’m writing to you this morning, I’m looking around the kitchen of Jeffrey’s and my new home.
On the cupboards are dozens of pink Post-It notes I placed on the cupboards so that we could more easily remember what is behind the cupboard doors.
Jeffrey has placed little pink Post-Its above the light switches so we learn which switches and lights are connected.
As we get to know each cupboard or light switch, we’ll pull of the note. In no time at all, we will have new habits regarding where dishes go and turning lights off and on, without ever getting mad at ourselves for not remembering.
