Subject: How much healing do you need to do in a day?

Hello Friend,

I’ve been asking myself that question lately, because I’m in the process of healing the allergies that developed when Jeffrey and I moved to the east coast.

I’ve never lived on the east coast, and I don’t have natural immunities to the environment.


It’s been tough, but recently my husband drove me to the desert, where my sinuses finally had a break and began to clear.

Yay!

That’s why I haven’t been writing as often.

But I have been thinking about this question:


How much healing do you need to do in a day?

In other words, what is progress when it comes to healing?

So many of my clients talk about feeling like they are taking one step forward and one step back.

I know what they are talking about. I’ve felt that way at times too!

But in truth, I have consistently made my best healing progress, when I think in terms of micro-steps forward.

(Then little set-backs, just aren’t such a big deal.)

If I reinforce small progress, it soon becomes big progress, and I find I don’t slide too much.

The key for me, is to really listen to and honor my intuitive insights—like driving to the desert on a moment’s notice! (Thank goodness Jeffrey is such a good sport!)

Recently, Jeffrey and I were reading from a book by James Alturcher about prosperity and he suggests a prosperity rule that I recommend for healing.

The one percent rule!


(Don’t you just love how really good principles can be used for all forms of manifesting?)

So what is the one percent rule applied to healing?

Take a moment to imagine how you are going to feel when you are 100% well. Really feel it. See, sense, know, hear yourself doing something you really love with joy and vibrancy.
Got it?


Now, imagine this:
If you improved 1% per day, in 100 days you would be feeling 100% better!

Okay, so you might slide a couple of days, or it might take you a bit to gear up, but it is possible to let your intuition guide you until you feel 100% better in three months if you make just 1% of progress each day.

I’ve been applying it to healing my aching sinuses. And it is working!

Quite simply, I make fewer sacrifices, engage in fewer self-sabotaging behaviors, gratefully receive every ounce of help that is given to me, and really notice the progress I am making!

I want my 1% and I know it’s doable. And you can do it too.
