Subject: Healing Trauma and PTSD

Happy Weekend Friend,

Overcoming trauma is a significant concern for many of the people I serve. It’s pretty difficult to get through life at this time without experiencing some kind of trauma.

I couldn’t think of a better day to talk about healing trauma than Memorial Day weekend (here in the States). In the old days, veterans called PTSD by the name “shell shock."

Whatever name we use, trauma comes with an inherent yearning to feel more peace, serenity, happiness and contentment. So, if you desire these qualities in your life, you are not alone.

The good news is that healing is possible. None of us have to live with trauma forever. There are so many modalities for healing trauma available today. You are probably familiar with the approach I use. I’ve experienced and seen so much relief with the Holding meditation, it is my favorite for addressing trauma and PTSD.

My colleague, Stephanie James, (co-host of the Women Emerging supersummit with me in April) frequently helps her clients using EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.

What a perfect time to find out what kind of trauma healing techniques could make the biggest difference for you. Doctors, therapists, coaches and counselors use everything from neurofeedback, yoga, self-love, changing thoughts, breath, posture, tapping, meditation, sound healing, and more to heal trauma.

So, I was excited when iKE ALLEN and Ande Anderson asked me to talk about using the feminine practice of Holding for healing trauma at their upcoming event: Overcoming PTSD.

iKE and Ande are co-owners of AVAIYA University (transformational courses, books, films and online events). They have hosted some powerful events, such as Overcoming Codependency, Healing From Childhood Trauma, Breaking Free From Abandonment, and many more).

Beginning June 1st, over 30 therapists, psychologists, doctors and coaches will show you how to heal your wounds, break through your fears, and live a life filled with peace, joy and self-love.

Sounds good doesn’t it? Please join me at Avaiya University for this very special series on Overcoming PTSD!
