Subject: Getting to Your Hidden Wisdom and Answers

Hi Friend,

Are you looking for clear direct guidance in your journey of awakening? So was I...

I had said a simple prayer and was waiting for its answer.

I asked for a teacher to come into my life who could show me how to use my healing gift wisely. (Later, I came to realize that not only do we all have healing gifts—many of us don’t even know we have them, let alone how to use them.)

Because my mother was part Cherokee—I asked that my teacher be Native so I could explore that part of my heritage.

Just weeks later, a Cherokee woman I had just met asked me if I would join her medicine circle.

“Me?” I was overwhelmed by her invitation.

I felt intimidated by the prospect and had no idea what it really meant to be part of such a circle, but I knew she was answering my prayer. So, I decided to leap, gathered my courage, and said, “Yes.”

During our years together, as I had hoped for, she taught me about the responsibilities that come with having a healing gift.

But what I couldn’t have expected was what else she saw in me—like the part of me that had not yet opened up to…

… my dreams.

The power of the Universe arises from the dreaming mind and my elder taught me to open to its mysteries.

In this context, the space of the dreaming mind included sleeping dreams, waking dreams, visions, astral travel, and yes, even daydreams.

I remember the first time my elder took me and other apprentices on an inner journey. She took us into the Mystery to become our power bird.

It was amazing. I could feel and see my wings. I could see very far, and I was delighted to be so free.

Later when my elder and I discussed which raptor I had become, I was taken aback when she assured me the bird medicine I experienced was vulture.

“Yuck!” I thought. But she explained that every spirit animal provides us with power.

“Vultures keep the planet clean,” she explained, “and you are probably very good at helping people clean up messes in their lives.”

She was absolutely right. At the time, I was a communications consultant who went into organizations where there had been communication breakdowns. I was skilled at helping teams release communication patterns that weren’t working in order to adopt new communication skill sets.

Knowing this part of who I was helped me speak with greater clarity to potential clients about how I could help them.

Since that time, I’ve had dreams and visions I’ve been truly grateful for, including clear, direct guidance that led me to significant business opportunities, natural prescriptions from my guides or even plants themselves, and a dream that literally saved my life.

Prior to meeting my elder, I struggled with my intuition and Divine guidance. I had some profound moments, but I didn’t have a consistently clear and direct line of communication.

From her I learned we don’t have to just wait and hope that the insights we need will happen.

Instead, we can cultivate a space within us that is able to receive those insights—at will.

That’s what my Mystic Dreaming course is all about. This is the only place I take you on the same journeys my elder took me into. 😉

And I know from experience, it is an effective way to expand your ability to receive direct Divine guidance.

Holding for Healing Replay

Saturday's Holding for Healing was a rich and beautiful experience. It's what happens when you create collective healing space with loving, awakening people!

To our embarrassment, there was a technical glitch for those on YouTube 🤔 (sorry about that), and it has now been resolved. And the email announcement from a week ago had the wrong time. 🙄 It's all been fixed, so next month should be more smooth.

Of course, when it comes to receiving healing energy, it's always wonderful when you can be there in person or on Zoom... but when you can't, thank goodness for replays. 🎉
