When everything that is familiar is thrown up in the air, you can feel lost and disoriented. It might be difficult to know how to make decisions you know you need to make.

 

The more persistent and strange the challenge might be, the harder it is to know what to do.

 

Those are times when I appreciate sitting with someone who has insight beyond what I typically see. Because the hardest person for any of us to see is ourselves.

Many years ago, I had a reading from a very accomplished psychic. She said quite simply, you are mother energy and that’s what you need to focus on in your life.

 

I thought, That’s it!? Seriously?

Oh my goodness! I did not think very nice thoughts about her. But you know—as it turned out—she was seeing me better than I was seeing myself.

 

Just a short year later, I was given practices that take people deep into Sacred Feminine energy—mother energy!

 

I remembered her as I began teaching the practices, and bow in spiritual gratitude over and over again for seeing me.

 

If I had been more open, I would have realized that her insights about me could have taken me from not knowing who I was and what I was here to do to absolute knowing.

 

My acceptance of my nature, and later my gifts, helped me creatively shift from not knowing what to do to understanding how to move through some very difficult situations.

Later that same understanding of myself helped me know how to create with ease and joy.

Now you know why I tell people that I do readings, but I don’t do predictive readings. I came to understand predictions are not my gift.

 

My gift is in seeing people’s spiritual gifts and how to apply those gifts to creatively move through stuckness into freedom.

This sound healing session affected me in profound ways. The first time I listened to it, I could feel it shifting and moving energy in my body. At points it was uncomfortable and immediately after listening, I started running a low fever, which Misa explains as a “healing crisis.” A day and a half later, the fever was gone and I felt better and stronger than I had all winter.
