Hi Friend!

As I meditated by the beautiful blue waters of Saintes Maries de la Mer, I let the salt air carry me into the oarless boat with the 3 exiled Marys, and the people with them, that eventually landed there.

This was a life-threatening journey for our three Marys—Mary of Jacob, Mary Solome and Mary Magdalene (Madeleine, as they say in France).

Imagine what it must have been like for them, not knowing whether they would live or die. And then imagine the overwhelming relief and gratitude they must have felt when they landed on this beautiful French shore.

Have you ever felt like you've been adrift and don't know if you'll make it or where you'll land?

It can be a frightening experience. And yet, as I meditated with Mary Magdalene and her experience on the Mediterranean Sea, I sensed she used that time in a most extraordinary way.

Imagine, what it would be like for us if we used the time we feel adrift to deepen our trust in the Divine—so deep and profound that we could see the next chapters of our existence?
