I’m here at The Spark Summit in Ft. Collins, CO and thinking about you.

I was so delighted to be part of this amazing circle of conscious scientists, healers and spiritual teachers.
Our discussion was spontaneous, peppered with periodic questions to stimulate dialogue among us. At one point an interesting debate-like atmosphere formed in which one speaker was talking about how our individual choices affect change in society. Another speaker talked about how a choiceless state, as in when love finds you, transforms your life. I think of this state as being chosen. As you can imagine, the discussion was rich as we considered these two approaches to change. Both of these energies have places in our lives.

Sometimes you don’t feel like loving, but consciously choose to open to it. Sometimes, it seems, love chooses you. And both lead us to experiences that can transform our lives, the lives of those we touch, and ultimately our collective consciousness.

|
This week, I invite you to consider these two qualities in your life. In what ways do you feel called to make choices in your life that open you to greater love? And in what ways do you need to open and allow love to choose you?
