My husband, Jeff, and I are connoisseurs of leaves. We love to watch them changing their colors as the trees surrender their leaves.
While we were out on our annual drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains, I was once again reminded that autumn is the season of surrender.

I asked myself, what am I willing to surrender in order to enjoy greater partnership, service to others, prosperity and health?
In my experience, letting go of control, and giving in to Divine love has been key to any deep healing or expansion I’ve ever experienced.
As I share in my articles, it hasn’t been about surrender as in giving up. It’s about surrender as in giving into love.

One of the ways I’ve taught myself how to surrender is to learn how to ask questions that get insights.
|
|
I discovered that questions like, “Why can’t I seem to get better?” show me all the reasons wellness can’t happen.
What I saw made me depressed and I felt stuck.
|
|
When I learned to ask different questions, I started seeing how the Divine really did love me, and with that awareness I deepened my love for myself.
|
|
I started asking questions like, “What do I need to let go of in order to experience greater healing?”
Voila! I started getting insights and answers!
