Introducing

CreativeCon

for Middle School students
Our extremely successful creativity-focused programs have undergone an update!

CreativeCon, now for 6th-8th grade, is where critical thinking, creative and alternative problem solving, and conversations on where and how creativity, arts and STEM meet will be focal points of the students' day at the Science Museum of MN.

Creativity Festival, now for 3rd-5th grade, will continue focus on exploring and honing those skills; the middle grades program will focus on expanding and applying those skills at the U of MN.

Volunteer information will be available in the fall.
"Red Shirt" Corner

Jody McIlrath believes in SBC programs and supports her grandson's participation in all of them!

"I love to help SBC out on these wonderful programs. I enjoy taking the children to their sessions and sitting in on them to observe their enthusiasm and learning. Others should understand the value of the programs, and how much the children enjoy the learning opportunities. Watching how quickly the children adapt to a new concept or technology (3D printing was one) and how much they appreciate us helping out, getting hugs from them at the end are some of my favorite memories."

If you or someone you know is a superstar of an SBC volunteer and should be nominated for a feature in our "Red Shirt" corner, let us know! They will be featured in our October newsletter.
CreativeCon for grades 6-8 will be November 29, 30, December 1, and 2, 2016 at the Science Museum of Minnesota.

Creativity Festival for grades 3-5 will be January 10, 11 and 12, 2017 at the Ted Mann Concert Hall, UMN.
