The team at SparkPath hopes that your summer was rejuvenating, and we're excited to bring you another amazing year of student enrichment programs!

 

Looking Back at 2022-2023

 

We were thrilled to welcome 5,506 students from 86 districts and schools to our events in 2022-2023, as our participation numbers grew closer to pre-pandemic levels.


Our field trip events - Creativity Festival, CreativeCon, Young Authors Conference, and STEMLink - were powered by interactive sessions led by an amazing array of local professionals from fields such as the visual arts, performing arts, writing, engineering, public works, and many more.


Academic Competition Highlights:

  • Spelling Bee - The Twin Cities Regional Spelling Bee champion tied for 140th out of 331 spellers at the Scripps National Spelling Bee

  • Knowledge Bowl - Teams from the Metro area comprised 4 of the top 10 in the AAA division at the MN State Knowledge Bowl Meet

  • Future City Competition - The winner of the Minnesota regional competition represented our state at the national FCC finals in Washington, DC

After a successful pilot in 2022-2023, SparkPath is committed to growing its Scholarship Fund, so that access to our field trip programs can be further expanded by lowering registration costs for scholarship recipients.
