FastBridge SAEBRS: Screening for Social-Emotional Learning Success

This professional learning course introduces educators and school leaders to the FastBridge SAEBRS (Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk Screener) and mySAEBRS screening tools. These tools are designed to identify students at risk for social, emotional, and academic behavior challenges.


Participants will:

  • gain a clear understanding of the purpose of the SAEBRS and mySAEBRS tools,

  • learn best practices for accurate administration,

  • learn about the Direct Behavior Rating (DBR) used to progress monitor students,

  • and develop skills to interpret and apply data to support students needs.


Audience: Ideal for schools and districts seeking to integrate behavioral and SEL data alongside academic data, this course equips educators to implement SAEBRS and mySAEBRS with fidelity and confidently use results within a comprehensive student support framework.

History and Pedagogy for Holocaust and Genocide Education

The Certificate Program in Holocaust & Genocide Education - History & Pedagogy provides intensive training in Holocaust history and sound pedagogical methods and strategies for teaching about the Holocaust. The program also introduces participants to specific examples of genocide and the warning signs that have emerged over time.

 

At the conclusion of the program, participants will:

  • Demonstrate a firm grasp of holocaust history,

  • Work effectively and comfortably with primary sources, archives, and artifacts that apply the skills of historical inquiry while creating a lesson or moedule that enhances their unit of student for students,

  • Apply sound pedagogical practices to their unit of study on Holocaust and genocide education, with USHMM Guidelines for Teaching as a foundational approach,

  • And so much more! 

Upon completion, this program will provide Certification and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
