Subject: ☝2020 Passover Sacrifice Service and the Coronavirus . . .

Dear Friend,

This (Pe·sach) Passover may be one of the most significant ever in the modern era. As of this writing, the Coronavirus is causing worldwide disruption. We certainly need to be seeking His protection to be "passed over" so the Coronavirus plague does not harm us (Exodus 12). This disruption has given me more time to complete some ministry projects.

As most of you know, we keep the holy days based on the traditional Jewish Calendar. I understand it is not perfect. I kept the New Moon Calendar until I realized the tremendous division and confusion it has caused in the body of Messiah. Remember, confusion is not of God. However, the Jewish calendar has been good enough to keep the Jewish people together around the world - so it should be good enough for us.

Plus, keeping the Jewish Calendar gives us an opportunity to fellowship with our Jewish brethren who also keep the Jewish Calendar. We begin the count to Shavout on a Sunday based on what the Bible says (Leviticus 23:15-16).

A day begins at sunset. For example, the beginning of April 8th would be April 7th at sunset.

Holy Days for the Year 2020 based on the Jewish Calendar
  • Passover (Pesach) Sacrifice Day – April 8th - Tuesday evening which is April 7th at sunset.
  • First Day of Unleavened Bread (Chag HaMatzot) – April 9th - the Passover Seder starts before the beginning of Thursday, April 9th which is April 8th at sunset.
  • Seventh Day of Unleavened Bread (Chag HaMatzot) – April 15th
  • Pentecost (Shavout) – May 31st
  • Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) – September 19th
  • Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) – September 28th
  • First Day Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) – October 3rd
  • Seventh Day of Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) – October 9th
  • Eighth Day of Assembly (Shemini Atzeret) – October 10th

The Last Supper and Passover Sacrifice Service are for those who are really serious about obeying the Master and observing ALL of His commandments. If you are just a "curiosity seeker" and don't desire to make a full commitment (which includes keeping the Sabbath on Saturday not Sunday, keeping the Holy Days listed in Leviticus 23 and avoiding unclean meats like pork listed in Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14), then you should participate when you are ready to make a serious commitment.
  • For those who are just learning about keeping the Torah, then please review our Statement of Beliefs document and read and study the Process of Conversion section. If you desire to be converted, then the Last Supper and Passover Sacrifice is for you.
Also, if you have not already done so, please read and study my FREE eBook How God Calls You To Keep His Instructions (Torah).

We plan on fellowshipping online Tuesday, April 7th at evening to remember the night Yeshua had His Last Supper which was a special Passover Seder because He could not take the Passover because He symbolically became a lamb for the Passover Sacrifice (John 13:1-15; 1 Corinthians 5:7-8; Exodus 12:5-6; Isaiah 53:7; John 1:29, 36; 1 Peter 1:19-20; Revelation 5:6, 12).

The Passover Sacrifice was sacrificed on the 14th at evening (at the going down of the sun) the beginning of the 15th (Deuteronomy 16:2-4, 6). Yeshua, as the symbolic Passover Sacrifice, died at 3:00 pm (the 9th hour) in the afternoon-the time they were sacrificing Passover Lambs (John 19:14-30; Matthew 27:45-50). The 14th at evening this year is the beginning of Thursday April 9th which is Wednesday April 8th at evening.
