Subject: Thanks So Much Early Contributors!!!

Dear Friend

It's been about one month or so since I announced my campaign to run for Seattle City Council - District 7, and needless to say, it's been a whirlwind, but I've been enjoying every moment of it.

I do have a lot of interests outside of my political campaign, so everything is a balancing act. I've always been one who gets a lot of things done by a "team concept" which I prefer and enjoy being a part of.

Last Monday, I attended a Seattle Mariners game with the Corporate Leadership Council from Children's Hospital as they work closely with the KCCP (Kiwanis Children's Cancer Program) that I am a member of, so it was a great time to relax for a moment and enjoy the game.

On Tuesday, I went to the Mercer Island Rotary club meeting and really enjoyed that. I'm a member of the International District Rotary here in Seattle.

Wednesday was a 7 AM Tee-time for a quick 9 holes of golf with some buddies of mine. Then off to the Fremont Chamber of Commerce luncheon for the Seattle Maritime Academy.

Thursday was the Magnolia (the neighborhood in which I live) Candidate Forum in front of a packed house. I think I did pretty good for the most part!

Friday I was with a wonderful Indian non-profit organization that I am a Global Ambassador for, Sukarya (means Good Work in the Indian language) on the Microsoft campus. We focus on bringing education to the young girls in the slums of India with an "education on wheels" program that I am part of.

So, it's been a very productive and bust week. Loving every moment if it!

This is where we need you more than ever!!!

These next couple of weeks are crucial though if we're going to be able to compete with the other candidates in viability and awareness. It's time to order up yard signs, information cards for door-belling, and other advertising means.

This is where we need you more than ever!!!

If you haven't "maxed" out ($500), please consider doing a little more so we can continue getting our word out. I've got an excellent chance to be one of the 2 candidates who go past the primaries in August. We need to try to raise another $5,000 this week! Please spread the word to your friends and families (they can all do up to $500 as well) and we can all get to where we want to get to!

Thanks again everyone for your support and trust in me that I'll be a great addition to the Seattle City Council! I know I will be too!!!

Have a wonderful day!

James Donaldson
Seattle City Council – District 7 Candidate
