Subject: You're freer than you act

So why don't you use it?

Hello Friend,

This month the country celebrates 80 years of freedom. So here's a question about yours.

Whether you joined us yesterday or years ago, this is the question that shapes everything that follows.

You're allowed to ask for the raise. To speak up. To leave a job that's draining you, or go after the one you actually want.

Nobody's stopping you. So why don't you?

Here's the honest answer most people never say out loud: because staying where you are feels safe.

The cage isn't comfortable, but it's known. If you never ask, you can't be turned down. If you never try, you can't fail. If you stay small, no one can look at you and find you lacking. Staying put protects you from the one thing that actually scares you — finding out what happens when you go for it.

So you tell yourself "later." But it was never about timing.

The Inner Shift
You're not stuck. You're protected.

What looks like being stuck is usually you keeping yourself safe. The raise you don't ask for, the leap you don't take — that's not failure, it's protection. You've traded the life you want for the comfort of not risking it. And the day you'd rather risk than stay safe is the day everything starts to move.

That trade is what we work on this month. Because a new job won't fix it — you'll just carry the same fear into a bigger room.

For now, one question: what are you calling "not the right time," that's really just fear of finding out?

To your Happy, Rich, Liberated being,
Sakshi Chandraakar
