Well, that's a Myth.

Executive Presence begins long before you speak.

The human mind is always asking silent questions:

Can I trust this person?

Do they believe what they're saying?

Are they trying to prove themselves... or are they grounded in who they are?

Here's the unsettling part: people never ask these questions consciously.

Their nervous system does.

And it has already answered before you finish your first sentence.

Which means something about your inner state is reaching the room before your words do. Something you can't see. Something you've never been taught to control.

That's the real reason two equally talented professionals walk into the same room, and only one commands it.

It was never the talent.
