Hello Friend,
There is a gap between being good and being chosen.
This was what we discussed yesterday at IIM while learning the Art of Pitching.
There's a painful data point hiding in corporate India right now:
Only 39% of employees even know what the hiring & promotion criteria are.
That means 61% of the workforce is being evaluated on criteria they don't understand. They're playing a game without knowing the rules.
And here's the worse part:
Higher Salaries & Promotions reward visibility, presentation, and persuasion—not deep technical competence.
Poor persuation skills is the #1 reason CEOs cite for why talented people fail to advance.
Which means the market is saying: It doesn't matter how good you are if you can't articulate why you matter.
This is what we discovered yesterday:
When someone pitches—whether it's to a hiring manager, a promotion committee, or a client—they're not just explaining their work. They're making a case.
The strongest pitch doesn't list accomplishments. It answers a specific question that decision-makers are silently asking: Why you? Why not someone else?
Most people never learn to answer that question clearly.
So they get sidelined. Not because they're not good. Because they're not visible. Because the people who make decisions don't understand their value architecture.
The bootcamp on 18th & 19th April is where this changes.
You'll explore the actual decision-making criteria that determines:
Who gets hired
Who gets promoted
Who gets paid more
Who becomes essential
You'll learn what senior leaders actually evaluate. What signals they look for. What makes someone "safe" versus "risky" in their eyes.
And most importantly—how to position yourself so that choosing you is the obvious choice.
This is the game. The one that determines 70% of your career movement.
The bootcamp starts in the WhatsApp group (Required).
