Subject: Upcoming In-Person & Virtual Events!

Dear Friend,

As you can imagine, planning events this year has been a struggle. However, we at Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) are delighted to have some fun upcoming live and virtual events!

First, we teamed up with Slow Food in the Tetons to bring you the Farm-to-Fork Festival in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on October 2 and 3! On Friday evening (tonight!) is our Wyoming Food Policy & The Future of Food cocktail hour where some Wyoming policy makers as well as myself and others concerned with our food system will discuss the Food Freedom Act and potential future policies. Then over a local lunch on Saturday at the Festival, myself and four other speakers will address the audience. I will discuss food freedom and how local and some federal regulations make it tough to produce food locally. Learn more about these events HERE.

Second, in a week, FTCLDF will virtually attend the online Homesteaders of America Conference on October 9-10, Friday and Saturday. I will speak LIVE on Friday from 10-11:30 Eastern on the topic of “Laws Homesteaders Should Know (From Raw Milk to Egg Sales!)” Other live and prerecorded speakers at the event include Sally Fallon Morell, Joel Salatin, and John Moody and on topics like food storage, permaculture, and beekeeping. Learn more about this conference HERE.

Third, on November 13-15 in Atlanta, Georgia, we will exhibit at the Weston A. Price Foundation’s annual conference, this year’s theme being Staying Healthy in a Toxic World. We are hosting our Fundraiser Breakfasts each morning Friday-Sunday featuring nutrient-dense breakfast items like sprouted oatmeal, pastured eggs and sausage, and whole grassfed yogurt all donated by small farmers and businesses. Find out more about this conference, our fundraiser, and even their virtual options HERE.

I hope to see you at one of these!

In good health,
