Hi Friend,

Happy Thursday, food freedom friend! Now that the Profitable Farm Workshops are well underway, we are returning to our regularly scheduled twice monthly News Digests. There are still a few tickets left for the Profitable Farm Workshops in Oregon on July 7 and in Kentucky on August 10 if you'd like to join us.

We're very excited to introduce you to the Cottage Foods Map and Chart, which explains how you can legally sell cottage foods in your state. This week we also have a real food supporter's story about accessing raw milk in D.C. and we are introducing our July FTCLDF Book Club title. See more on each of these below.

Have a real-food-filled week!

July Book Club Update
We hope you enjoyed reading A Precautionary Tale: How One Small Town Banned Pesticides, Preserved Its Food Heritage, and Inspired a Movement by Philip Ackerman-Leist.

The next book we are featuring is The Suburban Micro-Farm by Amy Stross. The Suburban Micro-Farm will show you how to grow your own fruits, herbs, and vegetables even on a limited schedule. From seed to harvest, this book will keep you on track so you feel a sense of accomplishment for your efforts.
