Subject: Join FTCLDF for a Day on the Farm with Joel Salatin!

Hi Friend,
You’re invited to spend a day on the farm with us and Joel Salatin. The farm day events are the kick-off to our Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) Fall Harvest Drive that runs from September 21-28.

Join us for one or two kick-off events at Reverence Farms in North Carolina on September 21. Spend the day mingling with farm animals, taking a hay wagon tour to learn about farming methods, and for presentations and the opportunity to attend a special farm dinner with Joel Salatin!

As you know, FTCLDF is a national nonprofit that relies entirely on membership fees and donations to continue protecting, defending, and broadening the rights and viability of independent farmers, artisanal food producers, and their consumers. Proceeds from the 2019 Fall Harvest Drive will help us continue to provide essential services to our members struggling with legal and policy issues that serve as a barrier to providing wholesome food directly to consumers. To keep membership fees low and accessible for all farmers, we need financial support from our community.

Farmers Market Fall Harvest Drive

From September 22–28, we invite YOU to join us in signing up new members or raising additional funds for FTCLDF at your local farmers market or farm. We will send you everything you need, including materials and brochures, as well as provide a quick training to get you up-to-speed on how to be the best advocate for FTCLDF. It could be as simple as handing out a few brochures to people stopping by your farmers market booth or farm stand. Spreading the word about FTCLDF and the work we do for small, independent farmers is the goal!
