You may have noticed that Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) has been writing a lot lately regarding our litigation against the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in an effort to overturn the FDA’s ban of the interstate sales of raw butter.

For those of you wondering why this is such an important issue to FTCLDF, tune in to our webinar scheduled for August 18, 2020 at 1 pm Eastern time. We will discuss benefits of raw butter, such as the fact that raw butter is a rich source of vitamins A, D, E and K, and can reduce the risk of a gastrointestinal infection. Microbiologist and risk assessment expert Peg Coleman will discuss evidence that raw butter poses a low risk of pathogen growth and illness.
