Subject: FTCLDF Can Be a Small Farmer’s Best Weapon

Hi Friend,

We hope you are enjoying this truly magical time with friends and family. To respect your time, we will keep this message short.

We are almost to the end of our 2019 Year-End Campaign. Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation to protect the freedom of farmers, artisan food producers, homesteaders, and consumers across the country?

Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the food freedom movement and for members like Hidden Creek Farms in Michigan. Hidden Creek has been operating for the last five years, selling milk, eggs, and plants. Their products are popular, and a lot of people visit the farm to buy local goods. This upset the neighbors. Hidden Creek Farm soon found themselves facing a $75,000 public nuisance and an injunction from the city for selling farm fresh goods.

FTCLDF represented Hidden Creek during a hearing for this temporary injunction, based on the farm’s plant sale, and commercial practices selling products on-farm. FTCLDF successfully worked with the township in dismissing its case against the farm. Though the government backed down, FTCLDF continues to represent the farm in litigation brought by neighbors.

You see, FTCLDF can be a small farmer’s best weapon.

Please consider making a year-end donation to FTCLDF and to help members like Hidden Creek Farm.

If you have already donated, we and our members thank you very much.

Thank you!
Kat
