Subject: FTCLDF Can Be a Small Farmer’s Best Weapon

Hi Friend,

We hope you are enjoying this truly magical time with friends and family. With respect to your time, we will keep this message short.

We are almost to the end of our 2018 Year-End Campaign. Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation to protect the freedom of farmers, artisan food producers, homesteaders and consumers across the country?

Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the food freedom movement and for members like Jacob. County assessors told Jacob that his farm did not look like a farm and denied his agricultural exemption, one of the few benefits the government confers to farmers. Jacob contacted the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF). Once the county realized that a lawyer was involved, they immediately agreed to give Jacob his ag exemption for 2018. That wasn’t good enough for us. Jacob was entitled to have his ag exemption reinstated to 2017 and to get a refund for his overpayment, so we got to work.

You see, FTCLDF can be a small farmer’s best weapon. As case after case has shown, just a phone call from a real lawyer can change the demeanor of a public official. Read the full details of Jacob’s story HERE.

Please consider making a year-end donation to FTCLDF and to help members like Jacob.

If you have already donated, we and our members thank you very much.
