Subject: Your support sparks curiosity in science and history

You can help Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium thrive in the new year.
The 2020 CARES Act provides an opportunity for donors to take a charitable tax deduction of up to $300 (single filers) or $600 (joint filers) even if you don't itemize deductions.

This year hasn’t been easy for any of us. Museums and planetariums across the world have taken major financial hits during 2020. Though Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium continue to persevere and find new ways to reach our community by providing safe learning environments and virtual options to explore STEM and history, the organization faces a significant downturn in ticket revenue as we go into the new year. We know that this difficult time can’t stop our efforts or our mission. It is crucial for the futures of so many children in our community to have the opportunity to expand their knowledge through interactive science and history programs.

Investing in education and hands-on learning experiences for our kids is more important than ever. I am writing you to ask for your support. Your gift will help us persevere through these tough times and continue to serve our community. Please consider making a year-end gift to Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium this year.

STEM is essential. History is essential. Please help our kids thrive in the new year with opportunities to explore science and history.
Clear Skies and Happy New Year,

Todd Slisher
Executive Director
