Subject: Vote for your Favorite Photo

Vote for your favorite photo
Today’s photos are tomorrow’s history. This past summer we asked you to send us the images you thought defined Flint in the 21st Century. Vote for your favorite now.

After receiving nearly 400 submissions, all of which will be added to the museum’s permanent collection, these 25 images have been selected as the entries that speak the most about Flint today.

Now we are asking for your opinion. Take a moment and select which image you think best captures, summarizes and symbolizes the successes, failures, hopes and everyday interactions that make up the culture and attitude of our city. Some caption information was supplied by the photographers, but we ask visitors to evaluate and vote on what the image is “saying” to you about Flint.Vote for your favorite now.

Join us November 2nd at 5:30-7:00pm at the Sloan Museum to find out which photographer received the most votes and will be awarded a $500 prize.

Special thanks to the Michigan Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities, who made this project and exhibit possible.
