REAL BODIES: THE EXHIBITION opens July 7!

REAL BODIES opens July 7 as the first highly-anticipated traveling exhibit at the newly-renovated Sloan Museum of Discovery.

REAL BODIES THE EXHIBITION, is presented by Hurley Medical Centers in partnership with Sloan Museum. This powerful exhibit has been seen in big cities across the globe, and now you can see it in the Sloan Museum of Discovery, starting July 7, in the new 6000 square feet Fun Gallery exhibition hall.

REAL BODIES transforms the way we view the mysterious organism we all share - the human body - and reminds us of all the complexities and magic within us. Curious learners of all ages are welcome; recommended for ages 12+.

Click here for an interview with Executive Director, Todd Slisher, about why he brought this important exhibit to Mid-Michigan for the very first time. Tickets are sold at :15- and :45-minutes after each hour to provide visitors a more personal experience. Learn more and buy your tickets in advance at SloanLongway.org/Real-Bodies.
"Tasteful Toga" Night Coming to After Hours @ The Sloan!

For those 21+ who are so inclined (and you know who you are), don your best toga and join us in raising a glass for the original party people, The Greeks, on August 2 at Sloan Museum!

This first-time event features a Toga Fashion Show, Greek games on the lawn, and fun for all! When you exhaust yourself from the merriment of Greek culture, you can explore all four museum galleries and play like a kid again! Get wet at the Great Lakes water table, or check out the Discovery gallery with one of our many hands-on interactives! Or, step into our Discovery Lab Maker Space for a special adults-only "Maker" hour where you can design and craft your own themed creations!
