Both Sloan Museum of Discovery and Longway Planetarium will be open for Spring Break week March 31-April 6, 2025. Our Education Team has created some fantastic hands-on workshops and day camps for ages Pre-K through High Schoolers. Listed below are the workshops and camps with openings. Both venues will also be open for general admission Monday-Sunday, March 31-April 6. After you've enjoyed the hands-on fun at Sloan Museum's 4 primary galleries and the special temporary exhibit, 2theXtreme-Math Alive!, head across the street to see a planetarium show at Longway Planetarium for Accidental Astronauts (Noon), Stars (1 p.m.), Enchanted Reef (2 p.m.), Laser Taylor Swift (4 p.m.), Laser Led Zeppelin (8 p.m.), and "Owls of Michigan" for First Friday's live talk on April 4 (6 p.m.).Discover these four primary hands-on galleries, plus the special traveling exhibition 2theXtreme-Math Alive! through May 11, 2025. Combo-tickets offer a savings if you live outside of Genesee county and want to visit both venues on the same day:

General Admission Tickets (out-of-county residents): $14 adults, $11 Seniors 60+/Students with ID, $9 Youth ages 2-11, Children Under 2: Free
2theXtreme Special Traveling Exhibit: $5/person
General Admission Genesee County Residents: FREE (Tickets are still required at guest services or online; 2theXtreme is not included in General Admission)
Members: FREE
Discounted Combo Tickets: For out-of-county residents, this is a great option to make it a day of discovery in history and science at both the Longway Planetarium and Sloan Museum of Discovery right across the street! Discounted combo-tickets for the same day visit are available in-person or online.
