Sloan Museum of Discovery Is Open Today!
Sloan Museum's parking lots are plowed and all four primary galleries are open with regular hours 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for wintertime hands-on fun! If you haven't been to the museum in a while, there are several new fun interactives and exhibits, like the Soap Box Derby track, Community Cars Exhibit, and the virtual interview with GM's founder, Billy Durant. 
As a reminder, General Admission is FREE for the following people with valid IDs: Genesee County residents, Sloan Museum members, families of active military, military veterans, teachers, and kids under 2 years of age. DISCOVERY HALL
Hands-on learning that makes science fun with immersive interactives like the giant Great Lakes Water Table, two story earth climber and weather station, and 10 other hands-on spaces. There’s also a state-of-the-art maker space called Discovery Lab where guests can create, invent, and design.

Early Childhood Learning Gallery (ages 0-6)
An Interactive child-sized neighborhood from mid-century America with roundabouts for tricycles, shops, a post office, supermarket, ambulance, playhouse, and a charming three-story tree house.
