SLOAN MUSEUM OF DISCOVERY OPENING TODAY AT NOON
Yes, we will be open today with a two-hour delay!

Sloan Museum of Discovery will be opening with a two-hour delay today while we clear off the parking lots and streets. We are open from noon-5 p.m. both today and Sunday.

For a full day of snow day adventures, head across the street to see a show in the cozy and warm Longway Planetarium dome! Here's the show schedule or check out the shows below the Sloan Museum gallery information:
Sloan Museum of Discovery Hands-on Gallery Spaces
Discovery Hall:
hands-on earth sciences includes 11 interactive exhibits, including the Great Lakes Water Table and the Discovery Lab maker's space.
Hagerman Street Early Childhood Gallery:
features a child-sized mid-century neighborhood to play in, and a charming 3-story tree house.
Durant Gallery:
showcasing 16 of Sloan's 106 rare and historic vehicles and concept cars from the Flint region's rich automotive heritage.
History Gallery:
Genesee County's remarkable history, from its earliest inhabitants to history-in-the-making.
Discovery Lab (located in Discovery Hall) -
this incredible, fully-equipped maker space is open to public 
Tuesday–Friday, 
11 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (2-hour delayed opening March 4 due to snow), & Sunday Noon-5 p.m. (with the exception of special events). Our awesome floor staff and educators are on site to guide you and your family with engaging projects. It's hands-on fun for everyone, and FREE with general admission.
Spring Break 3-Day Camps March 27-29, 2023
Fun and engaging hands-on, 3-Day Camps for Kindergartners, 1st-3rd graders, and 4th-6th graders will take place Monday-Wednesday, March 27-29 at Sloan Museum of Discovery. Kids will be engaged in reading and STEM exploration through fun, skill-building challenges! Learn more at SloanLongway.org/Workshops, or check out the specific Day Camps below. Space is limited so register early!
