November is full of full-dome Planetarium shows and live educational programs, and science workshops! Check it all out below! 

And don't forget, November 4-6, 2022, is free general admission to Longway Planetarium and Sloan Museum of Discovery, thanks to United Way of Genesee County's 100th anniversary celebration!

When reserving a ticket for a show at Longway Planetarium, please go to SloanLongway.org/Now-Showing and pick the show date you'd like to attend; shows selected for November 4, 5 or 6 will have a $0 ticket (excludes First Friday live show on Nov. 4). Show tickets are limited to 129 seat capacity in the planetarium dome.
Check out all the Fall/Winter 2022 Hands On Camps and Science Workshops. You'll enjoy family programs like Lego Club, "If I Could Build A Zoo" and "If I Could Build An Amusement Park." All hands-on workshops and camps are at the new Sloan Museum of Discovery or Longway Planetarium. Our workshops now also include book clubs, After Hours 21+ maker activities, and new STEM based Winter Camps.

Cultural Astronomy-"The Timekeepers of MesoAmerica"
Friday, November 11, 2022, 6 p.m.
This exciting new live lecture series focuses on how the stars, planets and galaxies shaped mythologies, religions, and even architecture within various cultures. November's featured presentation is The Timekeepers of MesoAmerica," presented by Planetarium Manager Patrick Ross.


Trivia Night - Saturday, November12, 6 p.m. 
(doors open at 5:30 p.m.)
Team up with your friends in groups of up to six people and compete against the other challengers in six common categories, including science, history, geography, literature, pop culture, and more. Battle it out for bragging rights and small prizes for the top three teams. Recommended for ages 13 and older.

November Sensory-friendly Show 

Sat., November 12, 11 a.m.
During sensory-friendly shows (every second Saturday of the month at 11 a.m), we turn the lights up and turn the sound down to provide a welcoming environment for our friends who need a more sensory-safe show. Be yourself and find the best spot in the house to enjoy the show!
