MEMBER MONDAY: WEBB TELESCOPE FULL PRESENTATION FOR MEMBERS

After several attempts, the James Webb Telescope made history after it finally launched into space December 25. After its month-long journey to its final destination in space, this new telescope will allow us to peer into history and will revolutionize our understanding of our early Universe and star formation.

Longway Planetarium Manager Patrick Ross, M.S., made a special presentation to a sold-out audience on December 18 about the impact Webb will made in the realm of astronomy and science, as well as the dangers the telescope faces on its journey to orbit. He recorded the full presentation for our members. We present the full recorded talk here.
