MEMBER MONDAY: Local farmer's life from the late 1800's is revealed by the diaries and archives in Sloan Museum.

While many people know of Sloan's historical archives detailing histories of vintage automobiles, archivists also have access to many other types of historical manuscripts and personal records. 

In this Member Monday video, Sloan Museum Archivist Jonathan Kirkwood gives members an overview of what's available in the historical archives of Sloan. He includes a look into the life of John Carey, a local farmer from Clayton Township who wrote daily entries in his personal diaries for over forty years. Click here to learn more.
