| | | Meet Matthew Fitzpatrick, Your New Membership Coordinator
After nearly nine years as Membership Coordinator, Theresa Fitzpatrick retired last month to spend time with her newly-retired husband. Theresa's thoughtfulness, organizational skills and care for our members have left a lasting legacy at Sloan and Longway. And now, her son Matthew Fitzpatrick will continue Theresa's legacy as the new Membership Coordinator!
Matthew is very excited to serve members and is well-suited to this new role. After graduating from UM-Flint with a History degree, Matthew taught social studies to middle schoolers from immigrant communities in Florida. After working as a retail manager, a bank customer service representative, and most recently a Midwest car hauler, Matthew joined the Sloan and Longway Events Team. After enjoying his time at events and fundraisers, Matthew finally accepted the position as Membership Coordinator in September 2023 under the direction of Development Director, Debbe Campbell. "I'm looking forward to meeting our members and providing the same great level of service that Theresa provided," Matthew commented.
