Dear Sloan*Longway Members, Tickets for Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will go on sale September 1, so we would like to take a moment to explain your membership benefits during this very special exhibit. To see Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, members will pay $5 per person. However, the rest of the museum will still be open to you free of charge. You will still have free access to Wisner’s Whizbang Emporium, Halfway Café, 19th Century, Arsenal of Democracy, Flint Sit-Down Strike, Flint and the American Dream, and Civil Rights exhibits. You can see Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition before it opens to the public during Members-Only time on Saturday, January 21, 2017, 10:00 a.m.-Noon. To take advantage of this event, you must choose a timeslot and purchase tickets at $5 per person. Call Membership Coordinator Theresa Fitzpatrick at 810-237-3457 or email membership@sloanlongway.org to purchase your tickets. You can also purchase tickets for other dates by calling Theresa. Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will be open January 21-May 21, 2017. During the exhibit, museum hours will be Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sunday, Noon-5:00 p.m. All tickets for Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will be timed at 15 minute intervals. A maximum of 70 people will be admitted to the exhibit every 15 minutes. Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended, as some dates may sell out. Over the past 25 years, more than 40 million people have seen this powerful exhibition in major museums worldwide - from Chicago to Los Angeles and Paris to London. We negotiated hard with Premier Exhibitions to get the price for Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition down to $5 for our members. Ultimately, we decided it was better to offer this world class exhibit at a low price to our members rather than pass on the opportunity to bring it to Flint. We hope you enjoy the experience.
