June show schedule and events at Longway Planetarium!
Jumpin' June at Longway Planetarium!

June's First Friday's planetarium show is tonight, June 2, a highly-anticipated live show about the Ice Age Mammals that once roamed throughout Michigan!

And, for those astronomy fans who also happen to like Hobbits, you and your fellow Middle-Earthers will not want to miss this first-time-ever, Lord of the Rings inspired Cultural Astronomy on June 9, presented by Planetarium Manager Patrick Ross.

Like dinosaurs!? We do, too, so we're bringing you a brand new show, Dinosaurs of Antarctica, premiering June 10 (members get a preview June 5).

If you haven't seen the visually stunning Serengeti, or the intriguing Secrets of the Universe, now's your chance! And the current run of the iconic Dark Side: The Light Show, featuring the music of Pink Floyd, is ending July 1!
